22 on the 22nd.

special someone turned 22 on the 22nd of june!
i was thinking of something interesting instead of the usual food and movie thingy, so, i thought i could bring him to cooking class, like the one my sis-in-law brought me to the previous time! though it was expensive, i thought it was nice buying an experience and at the same time, good food too(:

it was a mad rush in the morning cause i haven't been to the place myself and i was so afraid that we might be late. somehow with the help of google and my smart arse direction sense, we made it there on time!! :D

FARFALLE AL AGLIONE
it was handmade pasta using the food processer and rolling out using the pasta machine and pinching the pasta out by hand. the sauce was just very simple tomato puree. very nice!

PICI ALLE BRICCIOLE
this was handmade too, but different as chef used his bare hands to knead the dough out. and we got to roll the dough into strips. interesting recipe, its actually just coated in breadcrumbs, olive oil and some chillies. doesn't look too appetizing, but you'll be amaze at the taste! very rustic and very very good!

LASAGNE ALLA BOLOGNESE
THIS IS DAMN GOOD. the meat sauce was prepared by the chef beforehand but we do have the recipe too. layers of pasta combined with meat sauce and bechamel sauce plus loads of grated cheese. is was smelling so good. the aroma was heavenly.

can't wait to try it out at home!

and then we got back home for a afternoon nap after rushing and waking up so early on a sat morning. feeling well rested, we got out to marina for yuki yaki buffet dinner!

someone can't be more happy his lakers won the championship.

and we got to frying ice-cream, it's my first time seeing it!

we ended off with a midnight show, KARATE KID.
it's good as to what i suppose would be lame. jaden smith was so cute, especially his expression when he does the action of hanging up his jacket! you'll get it if you guys did watch the show! it's super hilarious! LOL.
